Per-image notes let you have a direct conversation with your client about each photo. Both you and your client can leave comments — ideal for indicating retouches, preferences, or simply saying which ones they like best.

How to use notes

• Enable comments. When creating or editing a client, turn on the "Comments" option to enable notes for that gallery.
• Add a note as photographer. From your client's photos screen, click the note icon on any photo. A panel will open where you can write your comment.
• Client notes. Your client can add their own comments from the selection gallery. Their notes appear in a different color for easy distinction.
• View in full screen. You can also open notes from the full-screen view (lightbox) using the note icon in the top bar.

Note types

• Photographer. Your notes appear with a purple "Photographer" label. Use them to indicate pending edits, retouching instructions, or any technical details.
• Client. Client notes appear with a green label showing their name. They can request adjustments, ask questions, or simply express what they like about the photo.

Notes are saved automatically and available to both parties at all times. You don't need to reload the page to see new notes — they appear when you open the photo's panel.
