Photo Editor
Configure how you want to receive the photos selected by your clients. You can choose from four options based on your workflow.
When a client finishes selecting their favorite photos, ChooseYourPictures sends you an email with the list of selected photos. The Photo Editor option determines the format of that email and how you can find the photos quickly on your computer.
To configure your editor, go to Settings and look for the Photo Editor section.
The four options
- Lightroom (with plugin). You receive an email with a button that opens Adobe Lightroom Classic directly and creates a collection with the selected photos. It is the fastest option if you use Lightroom Classic. See how it works →
- Lightroom without plugin. You receive an email with visual instructions on how to find the photos in Lightroom using the file names. Ideal if you use Lightroom CC (the cloud version) or prefer not to install plugins.
- Folders. You receive visual instructions to find the photos in Finder on your Mac. The email includes file names formatted for searching with the OR operator in Finder. Ideal if you organize your photos in folders without using Lightroom.
- List. You receive a simple list with the names of the selected photos. Useful if you just need to know which ones were chosen, regardless of how you organize them on your computer.
Which one to choose?
If you use Adobe Lightroom Classic on your computer, the Lightroom (with plugin) option is the most efficient — with a single click, a collection is created with the selected photos. If you don't use Lightroom, Folders is a good option for Mac. If you use other software or simply need the list, choose List.
